That rice is our absolute favorite!!! We have been buying it as our splurge for 8 months. We eat a ton of rice cooked from scratch but you cant beat one of those rices with canned chicken and salsa. Or with an egg

If you makes you feel better, I've gone through 4 sets of glasses in the 6 years I've lived my current apartment. I still haven't figured out who keeps breaking them. I live by myself.

I am 10 million percent with you on not spending so much money eating out. My family and friends of ours went to Kissimmee, Florida for about a week right before Christmas of this year, and we managed to rent a condo big enough for all of us. Having a full kitchen saved us tons of money and time, it was wonderful! I hope you guys have a happy and safe vacation.

for glasses, check out ikea (the basic Pokal ones-usually on sale for less than $1). We've had ours for 10+ years, & they've lasted through kids & pets. They've bounced on wood floors, but the tile in this house will definately break them, but they also seem to break into larger pieces, they haven't shattered into slivers. Good luck on glass longevity!

Thanks for the ideas! I always travel with whatever food we have left from our fridge and on our most recent trip I made a potato soup and popped into the crock pot when I arrived. Serve with cheese and bacon bits and bread. Easy and yummy! So much money is wasted eating out with horrible service or getting gross fast food. I love seeing your ideas. Thanks!

Did you do bring items for breakfast? We sometimes bring oatmeal packages or Carnation Instant Breakfast for a breakfast shake, for those who don’t like the free hotel continental breakfast choices. My daughter always wants to find Starbucks- lol.

Could we see a picture or car tour of how you pack all of this in one ride with 6 people? My family of four went on a trip last year and packed all food we ate the entire time in an Expedition. We were so packed!
