I have a quick question, why were recipes from mom, grandma, and great grandma, so secret! Why didn't anyone want to share the goodness? I used to joke about giving out a recipe for certain things, because I said, that is how I would get people to come back and visit! 🙂

My oldest son moved to Japan. When I went to visit, the one thing he requested was my sauce. Having him come in the kitchen and constantly tasting it made my entire trip. I've never done the meat like that but I guarantee I'll be doing it from now on! Thanks for sharing your secrets!

I'm sitting here watching this video as I'm watching The Godfather, and it's the scene when Clamenza is making sauce. You dumped your meat at the same time he dumped his. 😄

For some reason neck bones are not the easiest to find in my area. I have looked for making ramen. Any other suggestions? I am so intrigued by Sunday sauce. Partly I think because the whole family gets together, not just your immediate family to sit and eat.
