Dr. Eric Westman at Duke University has been treating patients for over 20 years using the ketogenic diet/keto. He says most people are doing keto wrong even though they are having success, but others are not. His masterclass most people have to unlearn what they have learned about the diet. I just ordered the Ketomojo. I've had a scale for a while and agree it's the most important tool. I had a prediabetes diagnosis in October and bought a glucose monitor. Shortly after that I started Keto and I'm no longer prediabetic. I hadn't bought the keto monitor thinking it wouldn't be necessary, but now I want to know where I am with my numbers. I no longer test my glucose, but I like that this one does both. I was going to order the one Nichole recommends, but they want a fee for their app.

I agree with using the keto-mojo and cronometer. The two best tools out there.
Macros aren’t too hard to grasp. There are 3 macronutrients: carbs, fats, proteins. They are the fuel for the body. We pull the lever of one over the other to feel the best/lose weight. Everyone’s macros may need tweaked through their journey. Keto macros of higher fat, moderate protein and lower carb definitely work well for me but I do sometimes up the protein and do a little less fat.
Micronutrients are our vitamins and minerals. (Macro=big, Micro = tiny).

Thanks for the great video. It really contained lots of good information, especially the part about tracking macros. I'm new to Keto and none of the apps that I've tried made sense, they were all confusing.
