I discovered the program-ability of the Instant Pot on my own. Then I was surprised at how many YT videos fail to mention this vital aspect of the Instant Pot. SO glad to see you talk about it in this video. I was also shocked to discover resetting the defaults is mentioned right at the beginning of the User Guide. Yet I failed to see those instructions until I had already emailed Instant Pot, asking them how to reset the defaults. LOL The takeaway is: Play around with your Instant Pot buttons. You can see what they do without cooking anything. Once you customize your Instant Pot, every meal is just one button push.
THANKS FOR YOUR GREAT VIDEO !

    Hi Heather
I love my instant pot and using your recipes. I have both of your cookbooks. I also live in Scottsdale near Desert Mountain High School. Please let me know if you are planning any events here in town.

Good evening. Well I had my 1st burn warning tonight while making a penne pasta and hot turkey sausage meal. I was really surprised I thought I had put enough water in. 90 percent of the meal was fine just some elbow grease cleaning the bottom of the pot. More H2O next time for sure. Keep those videos coming !!

I have had a major problem with my Instant Pot since day one !!! The problem is that my meat, pasta or any other food I cook according to recipes amount of water they burn and I get the burn warning each & everytime so I am forced to use the trivet or use a ridiculous amount of water which totally destroys the food which still does not guarantee not receiving the Burn warning. Any advise ?

Interesting, I wash my instant pot immediately after each use and I've stored my lid inverted since the first time I used it and my silicone seal does have a smell.

Not necessarily true re keeping cover inverted! I have done so since day 1 and the silicone ring still has an odour……even after having washed it in the dishwasher!!!! My Instant Pot is an area where there is lots of air flow! I now have 3 rings for different foods.
