I waited till the duo+ fryer was on sale, & it was my first instant pot!
It has side fins that hold it in place and runs the electric from the main pot.
Controls are on the front of the pot, as normal

Good tips but you have the pad the wrong way up when you are putting the hot lid on it. It's suppose to be smooth side up (says instant pot) when it's hot. The grooved side is for storage only. Smooth side up makes it so only the rim of the lid will be in contact with the pad. I was confused at first myself so looked into it.
I struggle with using the two layers to cook. How do you flip food when there are two layers?
The lid doesn’t work with all 6qt Instant Pots so be sure to check before you buy. I have the Max and it doesn’t work with it, there are a few others as well.
Those of us who have used the ninja foodi found out the hard way that aerosol spray oils will make the basket gummy and difficult to clean, even after soaking
I got an air fryer before I knew about the IP Air Fryer Lid so I’m re-gifting it to my Granddaughter. I plan to buy myself the IP lid ASAP. Thank you again for all your wonderful tips and recipes.

I have read that you shouldn't use cooking spray in an air fryer. I'm not sure what it is. But I have heard so many times they recommend using avocado oil in a spray bottle. Or even getting Misto Brushed Aluminum Oil Sprayer that is sort of like "cooking spray" without the chemicals.

Hello! I have the 8qt Duo crisp + air fryer. When setting your air fryer lid down, the storage lid needs to be turned to the other side when hot. The way it was shown in the video is for storing purposes after it has fully cooled. I just don’t want your lid to potentially get messed up. Thanks for your videos!
