Here is a SUPER simple way to make a delicious rice dish and all you need is a tomato and a rice cooker.

INGREDIENTS

Basic version:
2 cup rice
1 tomato
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt

Mike’s version
3 cup rice
12 oz Spam, chopped
1 cup potato
6 clove garlic
4 tsp olive oil
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp black pepper
1 dash white pepper
1 cup oyster mushroom
1/4 cup asparagus
1 tsp oyster sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
7 leave basil

    Thanks. I learn new things. Btw, is your pots unstick? Cause after cooking my pot always has crust at the bottom. Easy to wash if soak first.. But yea… Leftover that i cant eat annoy me.

    You dont need a rice cooker for that… just use a microwave. Closed microwave jar, 2 cups rice, 4 cups water, 11 minutes at 800watts. Same for potatoes peeled (just add 2-3 spoons of water) and noodles (under water).

    Trying this for the first time tonight. Had to substitute bacon spam as my daughter isn’t big with spicy. It smelled so good even before I turned the rice cooker on. I can only imagine what it will smell and taste like when done. Highly anticipating this…

    Looks like I need a realllly big rice cooker? :/

    Edit: Hoping i dont break my little rice cooker D:. I probably should have done 1.5 cups of rice instead of 2 cups. Not sure how high its going to go. Or even overflow for that matter
