    This recipe would make my German Mamma proud, I don't have as many rib scraps but I will be tossing in some Buc-EE'S pork & beef sausage to take up the slack, I thing Eckrick smoked sausage would work well with this as well. Have you already done a recipe on collard greens and smothered pork chops, and maybe some patato salad ? That's some real Soul Food cooking, or like we say in the South, " Home Cookin' ", Ha,ha!!!
    Might add the sausage at the 1 hour mark, what do you suggest?

    Man, besides the Cajun spice.. this looks like something my German grandmother would make.
    Nothing went in the trash, it all became another hearty meal, and often with cabbage involved. Must be the ultimate cheap and tasty stew/goulash/borscht filler, lol
