They should’ve given you your order per free after the massive screwup not only that they should’ve given you a gift card on top of that as an apology for screwing up

I got the two Breakfast Burrito Jr's today from BK in suburban Chicago near O'Hare. Also $1.89 here, although, I think I saw on the menu board, 3 for $3.89. I asked for the extra sauce, but I'm pretty sure I didn't get it. My burritos were not open at one end, which I think was better.
I had no problems with the BK employees, went very smoothly.

If the server apoligizes for the mess up then it's cool. An honest apology goes a long way with me. No apology, not cool, bad customer service. But for this particular scenario you should've been comped.

Oh no! This person (hopefully) was new. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. But yeah, it's okay to be a little annoyed. 🙄
Something similar happened to me at Meijer with regards to a pickup order. Long story involving frozen veggies. I'll spare you. It all worked out.👍👍

As a former manager at Sonic, I wouldn't have charged you for the burritos. I would've just comped the burritos and refunded the 13 dollars. It's not worth the headache, or the disgruntled customer for 4 dollars. Someone needs to explain to that Burger King's manager, that's how you lose customers. BOOOOO Burger King!

I dont have a poker face but I'm also kind of passive usally. If the person is obviously flustered and apologetic I would probably do exactly what you did. But I wold def be annoyed and worried about it being fully refunded. If they cop an attitude though, then I'm not chill. McDonalds shorted me a buck on change once and when I questioned it the manager came over with a total attitude and said I was a liar. Best believe I put my car in park in the drive through and told her she could shut down the drawer and count it while I sat there in line.

What would I have done? I would have charged Burger King for my breakfast, and then I would have tipped myself on top of that. Suck it BK.

BK seems to be the only place that consistently screws up orders. It's almost an intentional meme at this point, like the Starbucks misspelled names thing.
