Love the ideaโฆ.would prolly use regular buns, not a fan of slidersโฆIt has been a while, but used to mix meatball recipe and serve as a meat patty with potato and salad! Yours look delicious!!
Matt's Show Notes:
1. That's a great meatball recipe!
2. I always sautee onion, and sometimes add a little red bell pepper when making meatballs.
3. I rarely follow even my own recipes. I agree, it's a guideline to go by.
4. Gotta do the 3 meat blend.
5. Please make your own ricotta. It's super easy, and immensely better. I have a video on my channel on how to do it.
6. I always let that crust build. Best way to get no sticking to the griddle or the spatula.
7. Love the 2 cheese mix.
8. Always go with the fresh herbs. Sorry about your first basil, that didn't look good๐
9. I'll conclude. These looked absolutely perfect. I love your breakdown of not having the same ingredients as the recipe. Those sliders? I'd eat a whole platter! As always, excellent work!
Now I'm hungry..๐๐
I have been noticing you have been upping your game lately, and this is a prime example of that.
I did ground chicken parms a couple days ago. Very similar type of recipe minus the fresh herbs. The fam thought it was a hit.
Those will work for anyone, super job Neil and Amy. Gotta love those sliders. Stay safe and keep the fun in there too. Fred.
Exceptional late night griddle lesson. Grabbing the recipe now. I like this one, kinda an all around table offering. Your recipe combination for making the meatballs adds a great taste expansion to an old favorite, and your right, gandma would have popped you if you asked about gloves. She would say she did wash her hands, this mornin.
Been trying for almost 30 years to perfect Nonaโs meatball recipe. I added nearly stale bread and the sautรฉed chopped onions about 5 tears ago and the family says Iโve done it. Oh and freshly grated cheese is a must. No to makes sliders instead of subs. Thanks.
…..HOLD UP! where did you get that dome? You acting like that's something we have all seen!
What is that steaming cover with the hole for water?
Grab & Go? That used to be my stripper name! ๐ ๐๐
I like how you use a stiff fork. I prefer a floppy fork.
Meatball Slaughters???
Those looked absolutely delicious, Neal. I think I'm gonna have to try this one out. Great video. Have a great Memorial Day weekend.
Another Great video
Another successful idea Neal! That looks delicious, have to try this out! Have a nice holiday weekend, cheers ๐ป
You never disappoint!! What a fire recipe and cook this one was!
When I was young and lived in Denver, most of the local Italian restaurants made a sandwich like that, but on a hoagie roll. The interesting addition was always a roasted hatch green Chile.
Those look insanely delicious Neal! Excellent idea with the meatballs. I probably could have eaten all 6 of them! Cheers buddy!
Yum!
A thing of beauty and a joy to behold! As my wife used to say.
Those look spectacular!
I agree with Amy, that definitely looks like a winner my guy โ๐ผ๐ง! And like you said, great idea for a grab & go for guests. Shoot I might give this a go for our family Memorial Day potluck. Excellent idea/cook Brotha, cheers yโall ๐๐ผ๐๐ค๐ผ
Mmmmmmmmm, Oh Yes, another great and very easy recipe, will definitely give this one a try. Happy Memorial Day and God Bless all of Our Veterans. Take care and stay safe.

Going to have to try this one. Got my order of Smash That and just tried it out todayโฆAwesome๐
Alright, Mama says.."you gotta make those baby" lol Also, if you are ever in an Italian Grandma's kitchen. Don't tell her she needs to wear gloves or you will Not get any food! lol. Great recipe brother!
Aren't you glad you are now into grating your own, real, cheese?
My Italian born and raised mother never, as in NEVER, wore gloves when cooking anything.
We may need to change Amy's nickname from Microwave Queen to Mozzarella Mama after that bite.๐คฃ
