You sounded happy when you were explaining how to make the smothered burritos! I’ve made it for many years and if somebody is eating with us I don’t even comment that it starts with something from the freezer. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't know if this is laziness or convenience. I am legally blind so I tend to use my fingers a lot for flipping. I have a very tough coating on my fingers now after doing it so often.

My lazy cooking hack is my instant pot. I don't have to watch it, wait for it to boil, worry about it boiling over, or burning and it's so much faster than a crockpot which requires planning ahead!

I'm looking for your bread recipe that you made in your dutch oven. I can't seem to find it. Could you please send it to me. I'm really interested in trying it out.

One of the laziest things I do when I want to eat is I open a can of beans and I just eat it out of the can. That's what I'm really hungry and I don't feel like cooking. That's pretty lazy right. I've also done the same thing with canned fruit. But..
Your burrito with sauce and cheese looks so good. And I also really love chicken ranch wraps .

These are great! I'm a NY girl, I grew up on amazing Italian food, homemade and restaurant, so I can't skimp on red sauce or grated cheese! I make a massive amount of marinara or Sunday gravy when the ingredients are on sale and freeze it. For grated cheese, my favorite is Locatelli Romano. It's not cheap. My supermarket sells it, freshly grated, for $9 for 8oz. I stock up when it's on sale, usually buy 1 get 1 free, store it in my freezer. Its still expensive, but 1 8oz container lasts months and I use it a lot! It's a sheep's milk cheese, very sharp and flavorful, so a little goes a long way! Totally worth it!

My fave cheap and easy food is garlic bread! It's easier if you remember to take a stick of butter out to soften but works with cold butter, too! All you need is a loafvof sliced sandwich bread, I like pitato bread, butter and maybe some marinara to dip it in! Drop the bread in the toaster. Whatever level of toasted you like. While it toasts, take out a head of fresh garlic. Peel dome cloves and cut the pointier end

We're a family of 2, but since we're not adverse to leftovers I usually make four servings of dinner every other night. I'm going to make the wet burrito casserole since I've got some burritos in the freezer and enchilada sauce in the cupboard, but I'm going to make it in an 8x8x2 baking dish. One lazy thing I do is cooking my rice in my rice cooker. I can set it up and have perfectly cooked rice in 20 minutes without having to watch it. My rice cooker was $15 from Bed, Bath, and Beyond about 8 years ago, and has been well worth the price I paid since I never got the hang of making rice on the stove.

Thank you so much for taking time out of what must be a pretty busy life (I had three boys and a girl!) to inspire us to think outside the box when meal planning! Looks like your videos are going to help me save for my new couch, yayyyyyy lol!

I'm an old lady and don't cook much but that chicken parmesan IS ME! I love. chicken and I'm sure I could handle that! thanks for the idea! I've been using some already breaded and cooked (freezer chicken) then add cheese and a little marinara sauce. This will be a nice change.
