    Question – I've watched several videos on making oxtails and everyone uses vinegar or lemon to clean the oxtails. Do you then rinse them before moving forward? Looks delicious and I can't wait to try this.

    The recipe looks great but it kind of defeats the point of using a crockpot if you are going dirty 10 other pots and utensils to make the dish. Crockpots are meant to have all of the items dumped in, set it and forget it.

    Just fixed this today and it turned out yummy awesome. I only tasted one tender piece, but I’m refrigerating it until tomorrow to get rid of the fat. The last time I cooked this over the stove and ate it the same day I got sick and I think it was just too much fat and it turned me off for years, so today I’m trying it again. Thank a lot because your recipe made it easy.

    I've been thinking about using the slow cooker for oxtail, and goat for a while but have always been worried about the browning process.
    I will now use soy sauce and browning in the bottle for that effect. Thanx for sharing.
