I recommend Foster Farms Orange Chicken. Tastes exactly like Panda express dead on! Yummy tangy sauce! I am not a huge fan or orange tasting chicken to be honest lol

May I ask a question? I don’t have potato flour at home, can I use an all purpose flour instead? Is there a difference in texture or crispness ? Thanks

Fresh, organic pineapples available now at Whole Foods, I make this recipe with pineapple and oranges if I have them, but just pineapple is good too. Brown and sear well the pineapple bits, it really ups the flavor.. Tropical brand Apricot Pineapple preserves with vinegar and sweet chili starch makes an excellent sweet and sour sauce. I indulge to deep fry this dish, and then put the chicken on a wire rack and place in a hot oven 380-400F for 5-8-10 minutes to really crispify instead of the restaurant double deep fry method.

Presentation could have been better, with chopped scallions and sprinkle of sesame seeds!! The good thing is that it’s air-fried and not deep fried!! Good info, about sugar content!!

I do love Chinese food, I love Orange chicken too. And so many other dishes. I have made Chow mein, Sweet and Sour Pork, Fried Rice, Egg rolls and plum sauce. My husband really liked it when he was alive. I made that meal for my In-laws and his mom was so mad at me for fixing that meal because she said her husband didn’t like that food. They had driven 4 hours to come visit. My husband started gobbling it up and his dad watched him, then he said he would try a little. I fixed him a plate and he tasted it and said “hey this is good.” I laughed and I said I know. My mother-in-law tried a little and said she liked it. They would eat Chinese food after that.

at about 2.30 you mention you are zesting the orange into vinegar. What kind of vinegar are you using? Also could arrowroot starch be subbed for potato starch?

first off as a native Texan I have to confidently guess Panda Express… but more on that… would y'all please do cream cheese wontons?!?! Those are SO GOOD and are my weakness. PE's version is so good but they use so much sugar in their food that I haven't been able to eat there in quite some time. I would super love y'all to do a vid on how to make those wontons next!
