Dr Boz I get hypoglycemic sometimes after accidently over doing it. Like a celebration out on the town. Because your body already has a ton of calories to burn off, having your body flood with insulin gives me all those symptoms. Is the answer still to eat more?? even if your full?? I havent been to the dr about this as I dont want to be put on toxic drugs. I manage it fine usually but there have been times I have got caught. (like too rich a sauce on my steak or prawns etc)

I started fasting this week and I have a question ❓
Im 60 and in 2011 I donated my kidney to my insurance agent.
How can I avoid any issues that may arise from long fast or keto type eating?
    Thank you…I appreciate your videos

On day 27 of my fast while driving in a parking lot, I suddenly got all those symptoms and others … blurred vision, pain in my upper stomach, nausea, legs and hands tingling and numb and believed I was going to black out! I nearly called 911. I have also been dealing with an insane die off and thrush for 2 weeks. However, I drank just one ounce of a Gatorade Fit, I happened to pick up for my son – and within minutes I was able to drive home. I am now on day 30 and keep Gatorade Fit close by. Working toward 40 days, which I did last year, but never supplemented with electrolytes before this. I do work 2 full time jobs and maybe get 2-5 hours of sleep a night so I need to be more careful.

Yes ,i can confirm what Dr. said.I had 2.6 mmol of glucose while my ketone is 2 mmol.I feel normal ,nothing at all no headache,no shaky,no sweat at all.(I follow dr. way for about 2 months ,i believe i am now totally fat adapted because i cannot pick up acetone from dipping ketone test but it always show number in GKI test about 1.2-2 mmol )

Fat adapted ketogenic for a year. When I fast I get low BG ( 50 to 70) after as little as 24 hours. I usually don't feel good and I get the symptoms of low blood sugar like brain fog ( big time), dizzy on occasion and terrible sleep. And my Ketones are around 1.5mmol – I figured after a year of keto a fast would be easy. 😂

I've been fasting since February, doing one meal a day and doing 48 hour fast every two months. I've lost 80 pounds. I never thought it would be this easy. I gave up trying to lose weight in the past, I couldn't lose one pound. Thank God for the Internet.

Dr. B, you look super, I loved your 1st book, and bless you and your family on the death of your Mom. 🙏 Does your fasting/keto info need modification if you have hypothyroidism/Hashimoto's? Thank you.💙

When I was eating sugar all the time and didn’t have any food I got light headed & almost passed out and that was only a few hours. Now that I don’t eat sugar I can go for a couple days without food and none of that lightheaded, sick feeling. Amazing how efficient your body is without sugar
