This is fantastic Amy! Thank you!! I just ordered her 5 volumes. If there's more let me know. I've added the other books to my wish list and will add as I can. I wanted to say your book is easy to read, well explained, and overall a beautiful book. I wanted to add a suggestion for you to check out and perhaps once I get the health professional references, it may be not even close to comparison but I have the Indian Herbalogy of North America by Alma Hutchens.

Thx so much for sharing these books! I already knew about a couple of them, and will check out some of the other ones you showed us. Here's another herbal book that I believe has accurate and valuable info. Like your own book, it has great instructions for making herbal salves, tinctures, etc., as well as info on how to make essential oils. Keville, Kathi; Green, Mindy. Aromatherapy: a complete guide to the healing art. 1995; 2009. 2nd Ed.

Beautiful area. I grew up in southeastern Virginia. I'm a new subscriber living in the very eastern part of Texas. I'd really love to know how to forest for herbs in my area, looking for herbs for cooking as well as medicinal purposes. I have no idea what to look for though. 😕 I've searched for apps that would allow me to take a picture of the plant to identify it and what it would be useful for, but I haven't found one to my satisfaction. I would be willing to buy a book that would suit my purposes but I'm afraid I'd end up purchasing one that wouldn't be helpful. Anyway, long story short, (lol), would you know which book (or app) would be best for me and my family? God bless you 🤍🙏🤍
