My spicy garlic butter pasta sauce breaks all the rules. It’s kind of Italian but mostly Asian LOL. Creamy, luscious and oh so good! It’s my love letter to fusion pasta …

I'm Italian and I'm a fan of Asian cuisine as well. My Italian side is dying, but I'm intrigued by this simple fusion dish, so I'm gonna try it. Of course there's too much garlic for Italian taste, but I'll try to cope with it. And, please, linguinE with a "eh" ending, not a "ee", like the "e" in "end"…

Great dish thanks for the recipe but you have no need to apologies to the italians for the use of asian spices in the dish. Pasta originally came from your own people in Asia NOT italy. It was imported to Europe from China by Marco Polo then later adapted by the italians as a national dish. Therefore if anything they should be apologising to you for stealing your food, claiming it as their own & not giving you no credit for it's original invention then smothering most of their pasta dishes in tomato sauce.

I just tried this today. I can't believe how good it was! I didn't do the garlic chips in olive oil because I didn't have olive oil. I went on straight to the second step and made the sauce. It tasted a little bit like Filipino pancit canton but still a bit different/richer bc of the butter added in. It is a perfect base recipe! It's perfect on its own but I think adding some extra ingredients like cabbage, shrimp, or minced pork would make it even better! It's really easy. It took me 15-20 mins to make. Would probably make this as a quick snack/midnight snack.

Oooh i just made it with my bf today. We kinda messed up the pasta itself (dry and clumpy) but it still tasted good. We used angel hair and it reminded me of asian instant noodles lol. Next time I'm gonna use thr thicker pasta. Taste good either way.
