Again, you have provided a plain, honest and clear demonstration of a product with all the facts so we can decide for ourselves if it would fit into our life. Thank you.
Urvashi, If you turn the Soupecube upside down and push from the bottom, the frozen cube slides right out. Very helpful review.
I usually find that using the flat of the hand on the base is excellent. I will say, I have not seen these before recently. I get my 'silicone bottom with hard plastic sides' from a Asian 2 dollar store and have for years. Obviously once frozen pop out into freezer bags. My cheapo ones are easy to break. But by the time I spend $30 for a couple of these I'd have purchased 15! Urvashi, I was hoping you could make an argument as to why spend that on those. If you work it out, I hope you can let us know and I'll quit paying two bucks for the stuff I now use. Thanks doll.
I do something like that, but I put the frozen food in vacuum sealed bags so they last a long time.
great review—i have one 2-cup tray and love it. i stored cubes of brown rice successfully without additional liquid (and found they popped out easily enough)!
I really appreciate seeing things that work for a fellow klutz 🙂
I use small tupperware type containers. Once frozen I run warm water over them for a minute, pop them out and vacuum seal them and put them back in the freezer, they keep forever and no freezer burn.
