I've had a camp chef 24" wifi now for about 4 years and I've not had a single issue with it. On Forums and Facebook groups, most still go for those name brands they hear all the time Treger, PitBoss and RecTec. So, thanks for including one of the best brands on the market IMO. Not to mention, Camp Chef also gives Military Members (active and retired) a discount on their purchase.

Great comparison! Super-helpful. I have the Grilla Silverbac. I bought it in 2019, before they added Wi-Fi control. I love this thing. It has proven to be very easy to use, durable, and reliable. I use it once or twice a week and do a deep clean a couple of times each year. I do wish I could fit more baby backs in it. I can comfortably cook 6 full racks at a time, which is pretty good, but I do sometimes wish it could handle 8-10 racks. For the price, I’m very happy.

I've had the original Silverback for about 4.5 years and it is awesome. Still works like new and hasn't let me down. When they introduced the Wi-Fi option, it was an easy upgrade to get the new panel at a reduced price since I already had the grill. Worth every penny in my book.

So far so good with my Traeger Pro 780. bought it in August of 2021. I did find something somewhat interesting with pellets. I used the Traeger pellets last years and one day wanted the grill at 450 to do brat patties. It made it to about 435 and the temperature was about 30 degrees. I did that same trick this year but with Lumberjack Char-Hickory and the temperature was about 30 degrees here too. Only with these pellets it walked right up to 470 before settling down to around 450. So pellets at least as I see it do matter.

This is just the second video I have found reviewing the Grilla Grills against other grills. I ran the chimp for 3 years before stepping up to the Silaverbac. Amazing how many people have never heard of the company, but like you when they see it in action they are pleasantly surprised. I'm in Wisconsin and use mine in cold temperature like 0 on up to whatever winter gives me and it never fails and is a pellet miser at low and slow.

Excellent video. Very informative and thorough. I’m curious as to why you chose the RT-590 to test? For both price and features, the RT-700 would’ve been the more appropriate model. With a $400 difference in price ranges, the tests are a little skewed in favor of the higher priced options. Would’ve been great to see models compared within ~$100.

Grill grates are WAY overrated!!! They dont do anything special that a cast iron griddle plate will do!!….and once cast iron is seasoned it cleans a heck of a lot easier!!

Being the owner of two of the Zgrills 11002b there are secret features that not everyone knows about. The hopper while stated in the manual holds 28 lbs…..it will easily hold 30 without issue.

The cleanout of the pellets on the 11002b is very simple….remove that grate and you wont have to use any little kids shovel to push the pellets out the trap door. What's left in the auger…suck out with a shop vac or leave them there and just fill up your hopper with new flavor…by the time the grill gets heated up and stabilized those residual pellets that are left in the auger tunnel will be used up….no big deal!

the controller on the Z grill WILL get to 500 and so will the grill….been there and done that multiple times! (cooked a pizza on a stone with the grill blazing at 500 and the stone temp was around 650)

The grill itself will also sear on the grates….been there done that too with chicken at 400 degrees

its all in how WELL you know the grill and know what you are doing!!
