interesting recipe, leave the acting to Hollywood, too much talking, enough is enough.for a minute  I thought he was on speed, or trying to imitate an obnoxious mother in law.

Jeff..I love you and think you have amazing recipes! I have never felt the need to give you a little slap on the hand until now! Think of how much more fluffy your pancakes would have been had you not pressed down on each pancake with your spatula! I was like…"WHAT IS HE DOING…you never squash down pancakes…even the tiniest bit". But that still leaves you with a pretty good record when you think of all your videos I have watched and never needed to comment negatively! Know that I think you're wonderful…I just had to say something. Blessed Be!

Nice looking pancakes, but most cooks don't mention the importance of the kind of syrup they use.
It has to be warm, 100% real maple syrup, not unhealthy artificial flavored corn syrup. Nuff said ~

Random tip: if you flick some water on the pan and it dances the temp is perfect. If it disappears right away it’s too hot. I don’t know where I picked that up but always works for pancakes!

This was the 3rd pancake recipe I tried. It ended up being the best one but I did make a couple adjustments. I increased the buttermilk to a full cup and decreased the salt by half. The batter was too thick for me at 3/4cup. The first batch was too salty. With those adjustments these pancakes were good enough that I will never buy boxed again. What I learned from these 3 different recipes was buttermilk, melted butter and egg make better pancakes.

This morning I made these pancakes…they're the best I've ever eaten! I love the hint of almond too. The only thing different I did was use the powdered cultured buttermilk. I use it anytime a recipe calls for buttermilk as I don't like wasting a whole carton when a recipe only calls for a little. It works perfect. It is to buttermilk what "Better Than Bouillon" is to boxed broth. Anyway, my days of Bisquick pancakes are OVER thanks to you Jeffrey.

Pancakes get soggy when you put syrup and butter on them. Instead, melt some butter in some syrup and dip the pancakes. This way you maintain a crispier texture and use much less syrup and much more flavor.

I have shared this video with my significant other and child. Hoping these are on the menu tomorrow for Mother’s Day🥞😋…P.S. I happened to see today 5/12 (and ordered my second IP because of it) Amazon has the IP Duo Plus 6 qt on sale for $99. I think I’ll agree with you. I have the Ultra now and have been enjoying all the things we make with IP (your Pot Roast recipe YASSSS) but I think I will also prefer the buttons to the spin knob on the Ultra. (It’s kind of annoying lol). Thank you again for all the recipes and information you’ve shared about the Instant Pot.

IIRC Sunset magazine had some silver dollar sour cream pancakes that are the best ever. Of course you have to eat a batch or more due to their size 😉
