    If going by total, not net carbs, almond flour is not necessary and for those of us insulin resistant, to go into ketosis it is TOTAL 20 grams of carbs or under, not subtracting fiber. People only used bread crumbs, etc…to stretch it out. Keto meatloaf that I make, which my husband loves who hates Keto is…1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 1 egg, 1 to 2 tablespoons yellow mustard, 1/2 cup shredded parm cheese, 1 to 2 tablespoons Worchester sauce, half a white onion diced and any seasonings like, which I use, salt, pepper, garlic. When calling for a cup of milk use half a cup of heavy whipping cream/ half water. I do not use that, but you can. I also use a 1/2 cup of sugar free ketchup in the mix, then half a cup on top with my seasonings. 1 serving is WAY below 20 carbs per day, tasty and filling.

    My mother makes THE BEST meatloaf, looking into it, it has about 35carbs per serving… ive been trying to duplicate it with a keto friendly version. I think I've found the solution, I've been using a mixture of pork rinds and almond flour. The secret being to grate the onion, it releases all of the onion moisture and spreads the flavor throughout the whole loaf. Very similar to your but I also use pork rinds, some sour cream, and salsa. Just made it today after watching yours. Thank you. Turned out amazing.

    A little stevia and brown sugar for the glaze is amazing too. And ketchup in the meatloaf. I'm carnivore and can't eat this but I love meatloaf. And measuring is something you don't need to do especially with meatloaf, just throw it all in. Oh and bacon is also a must in meatloaf. I've said meatloaf too much : )

    The meatloaf looked delicious. Can I use soy milk instead of heavy cream? I'm lactose intolerant and I'm concerned about using cream. Love your channel.
