I have a couple of questions: Can I use Brown Basmati rice? The recipe says 4 cups COOKED rice, do you have any idea how much raw that would be? Also, I would like to cook the rice in my NINJA FOODIE Pressure Cooker, can I do the second part (bring to boil and then simmer) also in the NINJA?
Is there a more "non-processed" way to sweeten this rather than by using the syrup?

brown rice is great but my favorite rice is black rice!
