Good Evening Mrs. Lori and Danny! I've watched your videos for awhile now, cause I love cooking/recipe ideas. Today was the first time I've got to sit down and watch this one of the Q&A. Ya'lls story is so much similar to mine and my husband's. You describing how you met and the things ya'll did, up to your jobs. My husband and I are Jr.High and H/S sweethearts (Lol..your 3yrs in age apart and we're 3mo.) Oh yes we had a good ole Sonic too. My sister still laughs about this to this day. I would ask Mom if Larry and I could go out and we plan to go to eat. When I got home they asked where did we go to eat at and I said Sonic. I guess they expected us to go to a nice restaurant or something, back then you didn't care where you went to eat as long as we was together. And also the many movies and memories at the drive-in!
I retired in 2021 from our school district after 27yrs. I was office assistant in our cafeteria, later to go on to be Cafeteria Manager and then went on to working in Food Service Office and doing catering through out the district. And our office was also in the same building as our Bus Barn. So I got to be around alot of the end and outs of that. I look back on those days and wouldn't trade them for anything! Yes it was hard starting out our lives at 18yr. old but the good Lord brought us through every trial and bump in the road. I would go back to those days in a heartbeat. The good times of growing up with our families and friends back then was so different, and we appreciated things so much more, than ones today. Just so sad that this younger generation want experience any of that! (Lori, you was talking about always going to eat a meal at the families house, also brought back memories. Every single Sunday afternoon my mother-in-law always made a big meal and we all gathered at her house).
Thank you another good video and down memory lane. Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas! From your Texas Neighbor

Hey Mr and Mrs Brown, I commented a while back about my mom having a stroke and y'all were so nice to me and it blessed my heart so much. She's had two more since and just got her in hospice care this past week. They said it won't be long now. It's been hard but the Lord has given me peace. I thank you both for the prayers and being so nice to me. God bless you and thank you . 🙏😘

I surely do miss the days when we had family dinners every Sunday after Church. For years, aunts and uncles, and cousins all at our house. Then we all grew up., I mo ed 1,000 miles away, a brother spent 20 years In the Air Force. Twin sister. Brother who worked 12 hours a day, we didn't always get together. When we moved back after 12 years we started again, at least with Mom and sister and the 1 brother. Great memories. Thank you for sharing. I lo e your videos, cooking , gardening, Danny's devotions are keepers . Love you guys! God bless you and yours❤🙏🙏❤

You both are so encouraging to me. I'm alone on my journey praying for my son and his wife and two children as well as an aging mother. So, my journey gets lonely and your encouraging words and time with me are really helping me. God bless you both and your children and their children. I think we are close to the same age. I was born in 1964.

I just watched this video today on my TV instead of my laptop. It was like you were in my living room. I enjoyed it very much, so thank you. Thanksgiving here was wonderful with my family and the new addition of my 2 week old great grandson. I co-hosted and cooked with my daughter in our own kitchens and it turned out great. Like you said: Friendship, Family and Faith. That's what it's all about. I loved your stories. God bless you both.
