Thanksgiving is my favorite "food holiday." I love doing that butter trick with chicken and turkey. I've been making my great grandma's dressing (we don't call it stuffing, since we don't 'stuff' the bird) recipe for years. The recipe has been passed down to me now since prior generations are no longer with us. I am going to try those appetizers this year if I can find all of the ingredients that I don't have.

Thank you for this! I'm hosting this year and I totally forgot to get to-go containers. I did exactly what you did, scheduled everything in hour increments. I also forget to schedule the "me" time, lol. Have a beautiful Thanksgiving and thank you for all of your hard work. xoxo

Try the โ€œdream pieโ€ chocolate or whatever flavor you love! Itโ€™s divine!! Itโ€™s very similar but I think the taste is so much better! But my husband or daughter would not say no to it w the cool whip pie either ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I like to add Turkey meat to my stuffing. A month before Thanksgiving I boil Turkey thighs with onion, celery, carrots and garlic. When cool, I remove all the meat. I strain the broth and use it to make the stuffing. If I have extra broth, I freeze it to baste the Turkey. I mix the Turkey with the stuffing ingredients and freeze it till two days before Thanks. I defrost in fridge for two days and bake with Turkey. Yum!

    Hi Rach,
I just subscribed today even though Iโ€™ve been watching your channel for months. You are such an inspiration! I was wondering if youโ€™ve ever thought about putting all your recipes into a book for publishing? I know that I would purchase one for sure! Could you please comment on this in your next video? Thanks and have a great day!

I'm in charge of desserts for every holiday and I've been searching for an additional pie for those who don't like pumpkin. That chocolate pudding pie looks like the winner! Thanks Rachel!

I just remembered I live in Canada, and sometimes on thanksgiving, and definitely at Christmas time, thereโ€™s snow! Which means a lot of wet boots coming in the house. Throw a towel in the bottom of your bathtub and chuck wet boots in there if you donโ€™t have enough space for everyoneโ€™s shoes at the door
