We're lucky to have our own little piece of Bangkok in Melbourne that sells only this between 11 am and 3 pm. It's called Soi 38 and is under a carpark in the city. How appropriate 🙂

Sawadee-ka! When I'm in Thailand, there's a street vendor that sells the best chicken broth I've ever had. He ladles it into a bag (a technique I'm convinced only Thai street vendors can do) and then gives me some shredded chicken, cucumber and a scoop of rice in a separate container with a tiny pouch of a condiment that has soy sauce, ginger, chilies and I'm not sure what else .. can you tell me how to make this condiment?

Watching this again in 2018, and I nearly cried when you say “flash back of home” cus I’m also far away from home and I miss Thai street food so much. I love how you describe the dish so well, I can just taste it by just listening to you. I’m so proud of you, P’pai. You’re such a legend.
