I feel like a bad mom right now… I have never made Christmas breakfast. I always just made a pot of coffee and let the kids eat their stocking candy for breakfast! But my kids are grown now and out of the house, so this will be the first Christmas without my kids. Maybe I should start a new tradition for the hubby and I. Thanks for the idea!

Now you got me craving some breakfast so tomorrow we will be having it for dinner and we actually prefer our bacon on the chewy side so that will be perfect just like that and my husband does have to have his eggs cooked just until done not runny at all me on the other hand prefer my yolks runny so I will be doing exactly what you did and just make myself a couple runny eggs on the stove top right before the hashbrowns are done in the oven of course I will have to make some Biscuits with homemade sausage gravy to go with it but Yummy! My husband wanted me to tell you Thank You because it has been awhile since I've made us breakfast for dinner and were having it tomorrow now lol

In my family we have a huge Christmas Dinner always at my sisters home later in the day around 5 so at my house on Christmas morning I grt up early like 5 and I make a sausage an cheese bake and it's simple it's 2 cans of crescent roll dough spray a 13 by 9 take the first can of dough pinch seams together and lay in casserole dish mix completely cooked breakfast sausage with one pack of softened cream cheese but I now use the 2 containers of the Philadelphia chive cream cheese spread and one bag of shredded Colby or Mozzarella cheese spread that over the dough then cover with the other can of crescent roll dough and brush withelted butter or an egg wash and bake forn20 to 30 minutes until dough is done I always get it ready the night before along with a French toast bake with berries so at 5 am I can just pop them in the oven and in 30 to 45 minutes we have a great Christmas breakfast and I use my waffle maker to hurry and fry hashbrowns to everyone's taste because some of my people like them just smothered or covered while my husband wants his chunked, scattered, smothered, and covered basically everything but the kitchen sink! When we go to waffle house he gets everything except chili on his and I like mine with mushrooms, onions, and cheese only so we do a hashbrown bar basically and it only takes maybe 8 minutes per order in my Waffle maker…I love it on Christmas morning because our breakfast is baking while we open presents and then I just have to make the taters when we are ready to eat..

This would def make things a little easier than our family's Christmas morning breakfast tradition. It's always been eggs Benedict, going back about 45 yrs since I was a kid. I'd made it for so many years that I came up with a few tricks to be able to make it just a quickly for a crowd as for just hubby & I, even with my homemade hollandaise. It really warmed my heart when I found out my son and his wife started carrying on the tradition when they moved in together 💜

That looks delicious! I was sorry to hear that you are going to move to live videos. I don’t have that much time to watch those. Everyone’s live videos go from 45 min to 1 1/2 hours. Way too long for me! Keep up the fun cooking 😊

That looks so delicious. I love how resourceful you are in the kitchen. Do you happen to have a recipe for beer cheese like some restaurants serve that you could share? Love all the snow! I live in Connecticut and we don’t see that level of snow except when we have a nor’easter!☃️❄️🎄

Start the bacon with the taters and add a lot of flavor and will be crispy by the time it’s done. I also like lots of seasoning on my potatoes cause it makes them savory!

I just made your breakfast dish you did a few videos ago. The one with fried potatoes, scrambled eggs with sausage gravy poured over it topped with shredded cheese. I used a quart jar of my canned potatoes and fried them. And a jar of my hamburger I canned with sausage seasoning. Scrambled eggs and made a roux with my dairy free margarine and gluten free flour. Turned out real yummy! Hubby said wow that was filling! Thanks for the new breakfast idea. Will have to try this one next.

I want snow! Send some to Oklahoma! That breakfast looks amazing! You make canning look SO easy, but I've been working on it forever today (and its just waterbath and not even very many jars.. oh well, learning stuff as i go) so I haven't eaten. Might have to make this!

Since my kids got all grown in the blink of an eye, we have made homemade Bloody Mary mix and all the fixings. Even a boiled egg dropped in the drink. They get outrageous with us always adding different and fun things. The bacon Bloody Mary was pretty good too! That’s one of the maybe two drinks a year I have. Your sheet pan breakfast is exactly like one of our cast iron skillet camping breakfasts. It looks so good Mama B💛💛🎄🎄
