Polish zapekanka looks interesting with those mushrooms. It must be Slavic thing to call food toasted/baked under cheese zapekanka. In Bulgaria it could be almost everything (incl.leftover veggies, salami, etc.) put in a small dish covered with cheese and trown in the oven. Breakfast food like Polish zapekanka, called princessa (noone knows why, don't ask) or strandzhanka (after Strandzha Mt.) could be with or without sausage, ham and most frequently minced meat, peppers, tomatoes,… between cheese and slice of bread. There are even brands that sell minced meat specially for making these at home. If lazy you can have simply cheese toasted over bread. One of more traditional versions, however, is made of salted cottage cheese and eggs over bread – you toast it to nearly caramel brown color, the taste has nothing to do with melted aged cheeses. Thinking of pizza and beans on toast I assume that things over/inside bread is most European food concept ever. Thanks guys for your great content!

I do love this game series. I also love the A-Z series. I'd also love a miniseries where you play a series of Bennuendos and try to guess the dish that inspired them. There's been a lot of hilarity in the past ten years or closeish that I've been watching. Since 2014 I've been subscribed.

I see that your channel is very valuable. I would love to repost your whole channel, without changing anything, on the nice platform named Ganjing World. If you agree with that, please let me know. Thanks!

Aloha from Hawaii!! Please do a Hawaiian food episode on the channel. It would be a great opportunity to learn about the history. Yes, Hawaii is not a country, but it once was independent of the US. Colonization, military exploit, & immigration has done a lot to change the culture/cuisine.

As an American, I knew it was Hawaii. But exactly as said, just saying USA, you’d be laughed out of the building. The US is massive. And there’s probably almost nowhere in the contiguous United States that you’d be able to find that dish.
It’s a Hawaiian street food. Not a U.S. one. And that’s just the facts of it.

Guys, guys, guys…the Spam one was a no-brainer. You guys have been here. Spam is the National food substance of Hawaii. They eat more of it per capita than anyone else or so they claim anyway lol. Personally, they can keep Spam and Musubi. I prefer Kalua pork myself and those nummy little fried and sugar coated ball of doughy goodness! Also, Jägermeister is German not Austrian. We prefer to drink it after a super heavy meal and straight, mom kept her bottle in the fridge.

I don't understand how Austria that is more in the West can be farther than Croatia from Brazil… And Barry should have been made fun of with his "Northern Ireland" is a country…

We have something really similar like zapiekanka here in Hungary. It is a student stable and we make it for any meal really. It's called "melegszendvics" which is actually translates to hot sandwich.
