Your target is so much better than ours here in Australia. Our Christmas is in summer and it's usually a stinker of a day so we don't get to experience the "white" christmas with all the winter things. Will you be doing a styling your home for christmas video? That would be cool ๐
good video. Me, myself …. I prefer unique items for winter decorations. Store purchased items are like cookie cutters. Years ago I taught myself how to make my own unique items in Primitive, Rustic and Vintage designs. No one item I create is like another and you will not find anything like them in the stores. I just like my home decorations to be different …. unique. Wishing everyone a safe and Blessed Winter season โฅ
I love neutral decor, but my kids love loud bright and kid friendly, so they each get to have their own tree in their room to decorate however they want!

You asked about the tree collar vs tree skirt dilemma – why choose? you can layer your tree collar on top of your tree skirt; just make sure you have a larger tree skirt so it doesn't get hidden (just like you should have the right size area rug in your room so it doesn't look like a postage stamp).

Brands like Studio Mcgee and Threshold do not exist in Target Australia. I enjoy these type of videos but become increasingly annoyed that the Australian stores are not at the same level as many other countries. Australia wants products from good design firms too! ๐ค๐คจ๐ญ

We loved the glass trees in the front of the store. They came in red and green and possibly blue.

I bought a tree collar this past weekend. I canโt wait to decorate my tree this year.
Would love it if you would mention what these decorations are made from. More and more plastics are ending up in landfills and natural products are better choices for home decor that might not be donated later.
I wish we had those brands in the UK.
I used to do traditional but last year I changed all my decor to neutral with touches of rustic and forest green:)

Kristen, pertaining to your comment about the red berry tree. You could make one! Use styrofoam cone, or make one out of posterboard or cardstock. Get a bag of wooden balls, paint them burgundy red – or any color you like, & glue them onto the cone. Thanks for the video! It's time to go shopping!

I went in today and saw most of what you showed as well my target also does not have a lot of Christmas stuff out yet in the main holiday section. One thing about that beaded tree, just buy 1 and paint it the color you want it, easy-peasy!
