Pork n Beans in the IP. Barbecue Baked Beans in the Instant Pot..
Step #1
1 Lb Wh Navy Beans
Add 2 qts of hot water to the IP cook on high pressure for 20 minutes with 10 min NPR
When done drain in a colander. Leave in colander till later..
Rinse out the instant pot.
More ingredients:
5 peaces of bacon
2 Cup diced Onions
1/2 Cup Bell Pepper
1/2 Cup Celery
1 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp- salt pepper onion pad garlic powder
1 Cup un-packed Br Sugar
1/2 C Syrup or Molasses
1 TBSP liquid smoke
3 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1 TBSP mustard
1 12 oz can V-8
1/2 Cup Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce.
Step# 1. Add beans to pot, cook on high pressure 20 minutes and drain water off. Leave in colander till later..
Step#2.-Cut Bacon in small prices add 3 TBSP Of EVOO to fry till brown.
Step#3-Once brown remove bacon and pour off all but 3 TBSP Of Oil. Add Onions, BP and Celery and sauté till just wilted
Step#4-. Then add= Brown Sugar, dry seasonings, BBQ sauce, V-8 juice, mustard, hickory smoke and Worcestershire sauce, stir, then add bacon back on top of the beans..
AT THIS TIME TASTE THE SAUCE TO MAKE SURE IT HAS ENOUGH SEASONING…!!
Step#5- Replace lid on pot pressure on high 15 minutes. With a 15 min NPR. Serve Hot!

RECIPE:
3-4 Lbs. Shoulder Roast
1 cup of BBQ Sauce
1 Lime to clean the meat
1 TBSP of Worcestershire sauce
1 TBSP of balsamic vinegar
1 TBSP of Soy sauce
1 Cup of beef broth
1 TBSP of Honey
3 sprig of thyme
* optional* pepper flakes for some heat
cook on high for 4 hours or low heat for 8 hrs.
