Summer is here, so that means trips to the beach, day camps, watermelon, and more importantly, picnics! And one of my favorite foods to bring to a picnic is a crowd-pleasing rack of baby back ribs.
Who doesn’t love delicious fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs? I especially love them Korean style with a soy-garlic sauce. This recipe details how to make these ribs using an Instant Pot, however it is easily converted to stove pot if you don’t have one yet. For the video above I demonstrate how to finish your ribs off in the oven on broil, but alternatively you can finish them off on the grill if you prefer them that way!

Ingredients:
1-2 racks pork or beef ribs
1 c. beer
seasonings of your choice
BBQ sauce of your choice
Directions:
Rinse ribs and then pat dry. Remove membrane (optional), using any seasonings you like sprinkle them on both sides of ribs and rub in. Place ribs in pan and cover with foil, place them in the fridge to marinate 30 minutes or overnight. After they have marinated cut ribs into sections of 3 ribs per section or you can cut individually. Next add 1 cup of beer or any liquid you prefer to the Instant pot, you can keep the trivet in the pot or remove it it’s up to you. Begin placing the ribs in the pot, do not go past the max fill line. Put the lid on and set the vent valve to seal. Use the manual setting and set the timer for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes let ribs natural release steam for 10 minutes then quick release. Place ribs on foil lined pan and brush with bbq sauce, put ribs in preheated 450 degree oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes take ribs out and brush with bbq sauce again then place back in oven for 15 more minutes. Remove from oven let sit for 10 minutes. Enjoy!!
