Oh no every time I watch that scene I get "Mexican Amercians" how he sings it stuck in my head for a week lol ! Okay what?! Cactus? Is there a certain kind of cactus? I don't think you can buy them at grocery stores here. I am learning so much in this video today 🙂 I have to try this sometime ! Love this recipe from your childhood 🙂 looks delicious! Happy new year !

I didn't expect to be so utterly enchanted by memories of your beautiful nana, in making this for you Kirby. ❤❤❤ Going out collecting the ingredients before she even started, that's powerful love. Our history on a plate, right? Evoked stories of my mum's mum going out to chop kindling to fire the wood stove, collect duck eggs before she even started to Hand mix cakes as gold as sunshine. Your face glowed with that brightness in sharing this, and it brightened mine for watching. Bless you forever.😙😙😍
