Love this! I don't react too well to tofu (even though I love it)…do you think that swapping out with mushrooms, zucchini or heart of palm would be good? Which one would you choose? 🤔 (or something different)

Just meal prepped this for the week. Delicious! I substituted the Chilli oil with Korean red pepper flakes. The 🍍 sweetness combines really interestingly with the sesame oil and the rest of ingredients

Serious question: why is it that * normally * when garlic is cooked like that (fried for any length of time at a reasonably hot temperature) it gets bitter, but in many Asian foods it seems to work? Does it just somehow blend better with all those other flavors and seasonings?

3:08 DO NOT ADD THE (RAW/FRESH) PINEAPPLE CORE TO SMOOTHIES, IN FACT DO NOT EAT IT!!!! (raw/fresh) pineapple contains enzymes that break down proteins like your tongue/inner lining of your digestive system which can hurt especially if you are sensitive to it. Also for women it can cause menstrual problems and miscarriages. The core has the highest concentration of these enzymes. The enzymes will be rendered inactive if you heat it to at least 50-70 degrees Celsius for about 5-10 minutes.
