I am so happy to find this recipe. I adore fruitcake and the one I was raised on watching my parents make was a recipe from the late 40βs – early 50βs and used every type of dried fruit then known ( and letβs face it finding and buying candied citrus and dark red cherries when not in the β holiday season β is next to impossible.
