    I am so happy to find this recipe. I adore fruitcake and the one I was raised on watching my parents make was a recipe from the late 40’s – early 50’s and used every type of dried fruit then known ( and let’s face it finding and buying candied citrus and dark red cherries when not in the β€œ holiday season β€œ is next to impossible.
