(Jaffna), while in School, I used to buy on a daily basis " Milk Toffee" and the "Coconut Toffee" (we used
to call "Coconut Rock," it was known as "Coconut Rock" in Sri Lanka) from
our School Canteen during our recess.(so many kids stand in line to buy the "Coconut Rock" and
the "Milk Toffee"……. Β
Having seen the "Coconut Toffee", you are making , my memories were flying off from Canada
to the School …… " Vembadi Girls' High School" what a delicious treat on my recess, I have
had number of times…………

Dessicated coconut recipe.
Sugar syrup is tested,
Whilst the coconut and cashew powder is added.
A drop of pretty pink colour,
Blends with Rosewater and salt to bring out the flavour,
Rolled out on parchment paper.
Wow, a little silver ball,
Says it all.
Wendy's toffee is ready,
