I have always boiled my eggs for 12 min. Always peeled them over a paper towel because I thought you were not supposed to put the shells down the drain? True or not?

They're easier to peel if you put the eggs in boiling water instead of starting them in cold water. Put them in cold water after they're done, then peel.

i tried these 6 min. Results: yolks cooked only half. Maybe u have different eggs. Usually, if i want an egg well done, I have to cook it 13 mnin. And no, it's not blue or green.

I make the water boil first. Then put in the eggs And then set times for 12 mins. And then place them in cool water. Literally perfect!! Just had some this morning. I cut the in half with the shell on and the scoop the out with a spoon. No need for peeling.

If the eggs are extra large (that’s what I usually buy, unless jumbo), and come from a fridge, 7 min might not be enough. I usually put a timer on 10. Perfect every time. But I like Natasha, so OK, next time I’ll try 7.
