I've been trying a wfpb vegan way of eating for the last few months, and at first I was going wild trying every recipe I saw. I'm not really into cooking at this point of my life, so this made it exhausting. Lately I've really been struggling because I've been working on other projects and don't have the energy to do all that cooking, so I really needed to hear this! This video made me subscribe to your channel. Thank you!

Absolutely! Thanks for addressing this issue. I gave up going plant based due to so many voices and complicated procedures. Finally, trying in my own terms, and it's working. Simple is good ๐Ÿ‘

You! …are amazing!!! Excellent video and thank you for pointing out simplicity….and taking on the WFPB police because they do exactly as you say….and so right about food access, cost and complicated recipes…I will watch this video often so I can stop that perfection trap I sometimes get into!!

For me the struggle is that I am an emotional eater and I cope with really hyper palatable foods. I'm getting stuck in the pleasure trap! I know if I can just power through that the food will taste better and my palate would change but it really is hard with these eating issues.

I am laughing my head off, this is me! Listening to you made me realize how crazy I was behaving. In the last day or so I had reached the point of being just OVERWHELMED!!! I LOVE what you are saying! I watched a couple of your fast meal videos and those wonderful tips. I am going to simplify and try your tips and recipes. I just subscribed and I am loving what I've seen so far. THANK YOU!!!!!

Thank you so much for this video. Itโ€™s encouraging me to return on a whole food plant based diet. I was wfpb for 18 months but I was struggling to find out what eating, I hate cooking and I was trying to make different recipes every day. At the end, I was so drained that I gave up and returned to a unhealthy diet because it was so complicated for me.

Great video. I love frozen, canned or fresh vegetables and fruits and legumes, depending on what gives me the most convenient whole food plant exclusive way of getting the food to my belly. Microwave, stove, oven, steamer, rice cooker, slow cooker– it's all good. My one expensive appliance was the Breville sous chef peel and dice which I adore. I do not like to slice and dice with knife and cutting board. By Fridays, I type out my week of dinner meals which are also lunches. I've also used a store app and ordered the items I need to cook those meals. I pick up the order after exercising Saturday mornings. Routines work well for us and give me peace of mind. I always double or triple recipes. Once frozen, a later thaw of the cubed food means "fast food." I quickly simplified once I started WFPB eating, so I can easily maintain this way of life.

23 weeks so far, I don't mind boring. I like it simple & lazy lol. Oatmeal and a banana, carrots and celery, red apple, green apple and two clementines, rice and beans (different kinds of beans), gold potatoes and corn and green beans, salsa and Unsalted crackers, chili (chili Seasoning, crushed tomatoes, black beans, kidney beans, Pinto beans and maybe fat free refried beans all in a crock)
    Salads with sunflower kernels
May be boring but Very easy, very simple. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

VERY well said Dillon. I have said for several years now WFPB eaters sabotage themselves with feeling like they have to cook these elaborate vegan dishes or have the latest new kitchen gadget. I had a girl ask for advice who was going to start WFPB eating. I told her KISS . It is way to easy to overwhelm yourself otherwise

I'm in my car right now waiting for someone I dropped off, and I have a cooler with steamed kale, vegan dressing, 2 oranges and a plant based Mid Day bar. Other times I might pack mixed nuts, a hummus sunflower seed sandwich, fruit, vegan sushi, cereal, oatmeal or popcorn. Nothing fancy and very easy.

I truly love everything about Dillon, Reebs and this channel. They speak to me- I'm not a purist, not a perfectionist, not a chef and don't have a lot of time. I'm at the beginning of my journey into WFPB eating and this channel has relieved my anxiety and shown me how easy it can be to make delicious, easy meals. Plus Dillon cracks me up. Thank you Well Your World!
