Is it okay to eat the whole peanut unshelled? Asking for a friend…
Happy belated! The table setting has me googling funky candles; where did you find that martini olive candle?!
🫒🫒🫒
not the blog montage lmao
Happy Birthday! I have eaten artichokes all my life. They are delicious and expensive.
My birthday same day!
My birthday too!
Do you share the food with the crew as well or do you eat it all to yourself!
As a long time vegetarian, I still watch all of your videos because they're just that delightful. Your love for food is so wholesome, love to see it. The salad at the end, I can't wait to try! Happy birthday, Virgo lady🥳
Happy belated birthday, Alison! Anyone know which wine she was drinking?!
Very cool! Would never have thought about making artichokes, and now I can't wait to try this technique.
I LOVE Alison but does anyone actually watch the ad breaks?! Lol i just skip so I can watch her do her magic
When I lived in Zimbabwe my parents would have artichoke dinner parties, where they would serve mountains of home grown artichokes with a buttery vinaigrette. It was heaven. I miss regular access to artichokes.
Mmmm Artichokes!!
there’s no way i’m the first person to ask this but i’m dying to know what the picture above your stove is of!
I eat the peanuts whole too hahah
Grew up eating artichokes as well — I still laugh thinking about one of my college roommates years later telling me she specifically remembers meeting me for the first time because I was eating an artichoke (just this way; dipped into butter) standing at the kitchen counter and it made me seem "cool." HA! who knows if I'm cool, but artichokes definitely are, AND sexy !
I feel more confident about artichokes now. Thank you. But, also, that signature salad looks terrific
Thank you so much – I had no idea this method of cooking an artichoke could be so easy – loved eating this as a kid – Cheers from Canada 🍁
Happy birthday!!!:) <3
David is annoying, stop making fun of Alison
dude that salad was hot!
It's so interesting to watch other folks' way of cooking artichokes! My family does stuffed artichokes all the time, never occurred to me to snip the ends of the leaves
Somehow I never knew that you were supposed to trim artichoke leaves 😅 I grew up eating steamed artichokes as well and my mom would just trim the stem and toss them straight into the pot, thorns and all! We just avoided getting pricked as we ate (adds a whole new layer to the idea of “working for your food”…but also they never really hurt)
Happy Birthday VirgoSis!
Yum, Alison! That jammy egg was the icing on the cake. Delicious!
🎉 🥳 more birthday !!! 🎂 🎊(you get the entire month:) 💐
now we need an episode of what you would bring if invited to harry's house…
Happy birthday girl 🎉🎂🎊❤️💐
I’m still waiting for someone to comment the stay tuned “just kidding we don’t have breaks” 😂
Happy Birthday Alison
I LOVE artichokes. I love to cook them up with oxtail, garlic, yellow onions, whole peppercorns then fresh sliced green onions. season with fish sauce, salt, pepper. dip in lemon juice, salt and pepper. yum yum
Omg she's annoying I tried watching and stopped
I’d take that salad for sure!
The artichoke is a mysteriously attractive and feminine vegetable tbh. If Margaret Atwood was a vegetable, she’d be an artichoke.
Safe to say that the first person who decided to eat a raw oyster also found the artichoke worth the freaking effort.
Her: Effort is hot Me: Thank God for microwaves.
I'm all for making Heroes of the people that ate something for the first time in History..who ate the first Lobster? did they eat it Raw?..if they did they died, so who thought to cook it after watching somebody die from eating it? "ya know, maybe we should boil it? …who's wants to try this now?"… "Hey, see that plant thing over there with all the thorns on the petals…go grab some of those, and we'll have those with this scary looking ocean creature for dinner."
