Joan my son is 25 and a pilot. When he is home, I go into full on momma mode!!! That's how we roll my friend and there is nothing wrong with that XO. Btw my sourdough starter is almost done, we shall see šŸ™‚ XO

No guilt on your part, you absolutely needed a break from cooking and the kitchen-Thrilled Doug made the executive decision for you. Really enjoyed spending the weekend with you.

How wonderful of you to spend the day cooking for your family (and kids)!

Adam was just a few minutes away from where I live in Virginia! šŸ˜ƒ They have a wonderful theater on campus there.

    Thank you all ā™„ļø

Repeat this to yourself.ā€perfection just for its own sake does not define you as a personā€. In your case, the person who went out for a meal vs the one who didnā€™t is no better than the other. Itā€™s just what makes you happy. Work hard, but be happy too. Happy counts! ā¤ļø

My mom made my dad percolator coffee on the stove, but of course she used Maxwell House ground coffee. lol. I use to use a Mr Coffee but now I do poor over. I like it a lot better. Iā€™m glad you used your gift cards and went out and enjoyed yourself, you deserved it.

Donā€™t feel bad about going out to dinner! My husband and I only go out to eat maybe once every 3 months but I love the feeling of no cleanup. Thatā€™s my favorite part šŸ˜‚

My friend, you have been using your shopping bags that your nephew got you for Christmas which was a gift, so using the gift card to eat out doesnā€™t seem any different to me. How lovely that God used someone to fulfill a need right when he knew you would need it.ā¤
