Why did Northeasterners call everything Latin Spanish in the dead of Spanish food Spanish or Mexican food Mexican food or Dominican food Dominican food and they forget thereā€™s an entire continent to the south called South America that has quite distinct flavors and cultures as well

Some people say that this is not a spanish recipe. That spaniards not use chocolate in their food. No. My grandmother prepared a delicious stew with chocolate, in the south of spain, andalucia. It was a traditional recipe in her family so mayby itĀ“s not a very popular recipe in spain but is real. Congratulations chef.

Terrific video. Well played Chef. I love the recipe and note some posters querying the use of cumin and chocolate. I incorporate both of these when making a Chilli and they transform the dish, so I guess it's the same with the beef casserole. You appear to use white wine, but I will substitute that with a little Rioja and that would definitely make it a Spanish Beef Stew.

It's like watching a hack. The website does not list any of the recipes. These videos do not even link to his website. He only tells you half the measurements of the ingredients required. Better, more informative chefs to watch out there than this guy.

Ok, once I was making ground beef for tacos and accidently grabbed the cinnamon instead of the cumin. It did not taste good at all and I had to throw it away, I can't imagine chocolate and cinnamon.
