Thanks for pointing out the difference between steaming a spaghetti squash and cooking it in the instant pot: The squash "noodles" are more like pasta because they aren't in direct. contact with water and steam. I'll remember that.
What amazes me about cooking SS this way is how easily the seeds separate from the stringy stuff. The seeds come out super clean and are just about ready for roasting.
microwave faster poke hole set 5 minute per pound done .
Followed your recipe loved it this was my first time trying spaghetti squash sooooo easy in IP thanks for videos
Thanks!
YAY!!
Can you also bake the steamed seeds in the oven?
I've read so many different timings for cooking spaghetti squash. One person suggested 10 minutes for a 1 – 2 pound squash and 15 minutes for larger, since overcooking can turn it to mush. Have you ever tried a shorter cooking time than 20 minutes?
I have never used spaghetti squash. This seems so easy. Thanks for your informational videos. Do you cook butternut squash in the IP?
Great idea, thanks for sharing. I've tried the squash halved in my IP and felt the "noodles" just about disintegrated.
That is super cool! Thanks!
Tried this today…for me it was overcooked to a mushy consistency.. Will try again at 15 min next time.
Yea!! So happy I found your VLOG. I love spaghetti squash and cooking it this way will definitely be a time saver!! Doh! 😊 Many thanks!
20 minutes was way too long for mine. It was soggy and clumpy.
You didn't have to stab the squash with a knife? thanks
That is a great idea. My pressure cooker died and I haven't replaced it. Maybe I need to reconsider that 😂
Good idea! Is that also a rice cooker ? Never thought of cooking the squash in that, but it steams veggies too.
That's a great idea. I like spaghetti squash, but sometimes the texture isn't quite noodle-y. 👍🏻
