Great video! Can walnuts make tofu?
This series is so interesting and informative! Do you have a preference between the fava, red lentils and pumpkin? The red lentils seems to be the most complicated compared to the fava and pumpkin but potentially the healthiest? (im not sure about the nutrients and micronutrients). Thanks for making this video!
Maybe Peanut Tofu next? I wonder if that would work

This is absolutely Amazing. We are planning on a pumpkin patch nexr year anyway. Knowing that Allll those seeds can give us a supply of gorgeous, tasty, high-pro, fatty tofu is the cherry on top. Or just another reaon to grow even More pumpkins!!.
Trader Joeās market had a pumpkin tofu, named, āPumfuā; the ingredients were seeds only. It was delicious!! The texture was perfect tofu texture.Ā
But, as in Trader Joe m.o., it disappeared from the aisle. Was so sad, but so thrilled to see you make it! Thank you!
I live in Canada, too. At Costco, you can get 2 kilograms of pumpkin seeds for $21, which works out to about $5 per pound, while their organic pumpkin seeds are at around $8.50 per pound. Still expensive compared to the cost of ready-made soy tofu, but totally worth it seeing as we donāt have access to Pumpfu here in Canada. Besides, thereās the added bonus of whey and less plastic packaging. I have my first batch in the tofu press/mold right now. Iām so happy to have found this recipe since Iām allergic to soy. Iāll definitely be trying this recipe with sunflower seeds. Iāll even see if I can make vegan cheese. Oh, the possibilities!!!
Iām wondering if i would be able to make vegan blue cheese using this tofu. I usualy use cashews for that
A recipe for the pulp would definitely make it worth the cost
In Nigeria, there's something called Egusi made out of pumpkin seeds. This sorta looks like it.
I wonder what happens if you use a juicer with soaked and watery seeds instead of using a blender; you may not need to use the nut milk bag. Then, of course, you may not have as much milk.
I wonder what sunflower seed tofu would be like?
I suspect it would be very similar to pumpkin seed tofu…
And u can use the pulp for crackers!!
Please dont drain the soakwater in the sink! Collect it and use it to water your plants! They will thank you for the unwasted nutrients.
How about sunflower seeds, they should be cheaper?
This was my favorite tofu video of yours, it was excellent. Thanks
