First video I have seen where there is no cream of celery, chicken, or mushroom involved. I lost my mom recently and loved her dressing but I never recall her using the cream soups 👍🏽 and I was always the one who went to buy the food ingredients from the holidays. Love the video. She also used turkey wings instead but I love the way you seasoned your chickens
I vaguely remember my grandma cooking dressing…and I’m mad because now she’s gone…but what I do remember was her pouring that hot broth from the turkey into her dressing before baking it…cuz every single year like clockwork it was an argument in the kitchen because my grandpa almost spilled the broth over the bowl she was holding cuz he wasn’t holding the turkey pan sturdy enough when he poured. The good ole days! 🤣🤣🤣 But imma try this! 💜

Ok I've watched several videos of southern cornbread dressings, honestly I like my dressing a little sweet. I think it's all about preference.
This looks like my mamas dressing so I’m going to follow this…I’ll probably make mine a tad bit stiffer but still looks good! As far as the jiffy comments …just switch it out I typically make my cornbread from scratch too but with all these dishes and working 40+ hours a week I ain’t got time chile. So I’ll be cheating with chicken broth and jiffy lol.
I’m from Mississippi don’t use jiffy yall , we don’t want no sweet dressin. Take the time to make you a non sweet corn bread. Trust me lol I know different people like different things. But this still looked good !

Looks delicious but i have to say the true Southerners call it dressing😂😂 I use cornmeal for the cornbread. I think Jiffy would be too sweet for me. It's good but it's almost a dessert. I am going to try this recipe though. Thank you!!
