Ms. Brenda Dee, all I did was sign on to my computer. And there you were cooking black eyed peas. I am so hungry. I started to swallow hard. A southern meal reminds me of my mother. What do I have for dinner? Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans for the third day. I want some black eyed peas and pork chops. Oh well, maybe tomorrow. Thank you for sharing. God bless you.

    Hi, Ms. Brenda Dee!
Wow, those black eyed peas look great! Thanks for showing us the quick soak method: I always forget to soak them overnight.
Holding off on the salt and pepper at the beginning was a good idea: ham hocks are very well seasoned.
Wow, that meal looks incredible! I have never heard of buffalo fish, but I am sure they are good.
    Thanks for another great recipe!

I spoke to you about bacon. My ham hocks were freezer burned but I've got some beautiful bacon I need to use so I'm going to fry it up and make my black eyed peas. I am also going to make turnip greens and cornbread. :-). When you said you were doing a video on black eyed peas and I realized I had some in the freezer I decided it was going to happen right away! LOL :-). Liked and shared the video. I love you sister! XOXO

Oh my goodness!!! I’m so glad to see this. I haven’t made peas in a long time because my family doesn’t want them. I’m going to cook them for me. What I enjoy is important too.
