Billy ! You guys are Tops!!! Not only easy excellent video but full directions in a simple scroll below, THANK YOU !!! We like 👍🏼 your vidz every time 🍎🍏
Billy Billy. No hat. A dead giveaway that a guy is bald is that he always has a hat on. I lost that bet. You have hair!!!
This is one of those great desserts that my wife makes. The other day we took it to the next level by making a Creme Anglaise. Oh My Gosh. I will never eat apple crisp again with ice cream
I made this and it was way too sweet for my liking, although I already halved the sugar in the apple mixture. I think, the apples don't need any sugar at all!
Which ice cream machine are you using?
That looks just like apple crumble
Nice video 😻👏👏👏
Looks amazing thanks for sharing 💜
Gaaaah, Im making this and forgot to add the pecans to the topping -_- Either way, I'll add them on top after baking, no problem.
Edit: I used this recipe as a base and made a few changes. Halved the recipe for a small pan. Added a splash of lemon juice to the apples, along with a splash of vanilla, and a splash of bourbon. Swapped the flour in the apples for cornstarch. The end result was sooooooooo delicious!
gotta love Billy bombing the feed with awesome simple recipes taht are exciting to try.
also, soft served ice cream is insane.
Tomorrow's desert.
How funny, I’m actually sitting eating apple “crumble” and this came up. Made slightly different from urs. 🏴🏴
I have some Apple pie moonshine. Will that work?
This looks beyond delicious. My family is going to love this recipe 😊
We love apple crisp and simply aren’t into pies. Too heavy. Your crisp looks delicious. I’ll have to add walnuts to my streusel topping the next time. You’re right about mixing tart apples with sweet ones. If I don’t have a tart apple or two to add to the mix, I sneak in a bit of vinegar for contrast. Thank you for this.
Excellent made it tonight DELICIOUS thank you.
Diabeetus lol
Where’s your hat? As always, amazing recipe 🙂
Did you know you could make brown sugar from molasses and sugar? It would save you money doing it that way

Love your content, thanks 🙂
Does anyone know the link to the ice cream maker he uses
Thank you, Chef. I will be making the apple crisp and ice cream very soon.
Billy! Nice job on this! I love how you MIXED the apples! I typically go with granny smith – but the mixture was great! (I also use a fork to break up the topping). The video was great – I enjoyed the technique sharing, and recipe –and OMG homemade Vanilla Ice Cream?? WOW! Thank you!
Apple Crisp! Thanx, Chef Billy, this dessert is one of my favorites.
If you were a sweet, old-fashioned chef, you'd have included "rubbing-in" to make the crumble topping.
Hands in bowl, and rub the flour and butter between your thumbs and index and middle fingers, until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
That's what I was taught, a few lifetimes ago – is it still taught?
I can't tell if you changed your haircut, or if you always had a hat on…
Thank you for sharing this recipe and it looks so delicious 😋,I can just taste it 😋😊!
whoa. strait fire🤗😋
