    You are so compelling and relatable. I am grown women, I don't feel like the 20 year size zero influencers gets it. If you never struggled your with weight, you don't get it. I got off the weight rollercoaster during covid and never felt better. Being consistent is the secret. Make it a lifestyle change. Do I still eat pizza, wine, chocolate? Yes in moderation and paying attention on the calories I consume.

    Thank you friend! I lost 45lbs initially, gained 6 and looked great and maintained for 2 years. Last 6 months feeling depressed and now I'm at gaining 20lbs. I need to reset and take care of myself. I'm not going to restrict like the first time. I need to get back to how I was maintaining with healthy choices and moving my butt with long walks

    When you looked for a counselor what did you search for? I know I have had an issue with food since I was little and after doing paleo and keto I know my relationship with food is even more f*** up.

    I grew up in a very strict Muslim family and it was a strict rule to not share things behind closed doors. I had to remind myself that I'm grown and have my own family now which means I'm able to set my own rules. I saw a therapist in April and started losing again bc I quit a toxic job. This toxic job was effecting me so bad that it bled into effecting my eating, sleeping, and hormones. I didn't see it for myself without therapy. The scale has started moving big time again since I quit in Aug.

    Fall and winter is harder for staying on track because of all the holiday foods, the comfort foods, all the goodies the family makes that you only get that one time of year. All this makes it harder. I just recently found out that my weight problem isn’t the food or the exercise I’m doing or not doing cause I feel like I’ve done it all. But I had to request a full hormonal blood panel that insurance doesn’t cover and boy it’s out of wack and it sucks the doctors don’t try to find the root cause for why we truly have problems losing weight and so much more. So people please don’t beat yourself up for nothing working. Because if one hormone thing is out of balance so is everything else. Everything isn’t just food and exercise for everyone.

    I also had kids young (I was almost 21 when my first was born). I agree with you too during those 20’s especially with being a newlywed and kids it’s so easy to lose your identity as an individual. Just turned 30 this year and I’m really trying to focus on ME and just tuning into my style and personality and just accepting myself for me 100%. It’s such a journey!

    I can’t do IF either purposefully because it makes me binge. I have a history of binge and restrict. Sooo, IF kind of plays right into that. I do IF only if I’m just not hungry and get busy and inadvertently miss a meal.

    I was vegan (not just dietary) and lost 60. After a while I gained it all back. I did Optavia and lost 60. Yeah. Too pricy and super processed. Doesn’t last. I’ve done LA Weight Loss. I’ve done slim Fast. I’ve done keto. I’ve done carnivore. I’m just over it all. I’d love to just go back vegan again but I cannot keep iron levels up eating that way and I end up super sickly.

    I really needed this. For the first time I have been extremely consistent after losing weight/getting fat again multiple times from ED’s, fad diets, etc. “You will never get today back. So what are you gonna do”. THIS. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

    Everyone don't have money to get a personal trainer like you did! I have been watching you since you've been on keto. So please don't mislead others and tell them the truth. Keto do work for people it just didn't work for you.
