    Alternate method is to start the Kale 5 minutes before the Sweet Potato is finished and add the Butter Beans 3 minutes before the sweet potato is finished. It's all good.

    Being from Virginia, I was raised by a mama from mountains up near Wst Virginia. She cooked country, and thats how I always cooked. Greens cooked with ham or fatback, beans same way.Bacon grease was saved and used to season everything else, lol. Picnics and holidays was fried chicken cooked in cast iron skillet, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, and homemade rolls followed by great desserts. Carrot cake, german chocolate cake, strawberry short cake, apple pies. I love leftovers, lol. But I've tried to eat some peoples cooking, ( including a sisters)( go figure!), I wouldn't feed a dog, let alone leftovers!! So this way of cooking and eating is hard to stop. I think if I could find seasonings to add good flavors, it would go a long way towards me eating like that. I know it'd be a lot healthier
