    Crockpot!
I usually make this recipe in a nonstick skillet on my stovetop. I omit the cream cheese and use Mexican crema as a topping (I'm generous with it 🤭). A squeeze of lime and a sprinkle of cilantro; it either gets served in a puffy taco or I'll use large tortilla chips as a scoop, dip style. So good.

I was today years old when I realized I did not have to cut up my meet before putting it in the crockpot for stew and whatnot, I could just put the meat in, cook it, and then shred it. Thank you!
