This is THEE BEST GF and DF pie crust out there. Hands down. I have made this twice now for my family, blueberry and apple pie, and both were beyond exceptional. Something you would pay $25+ at a boutique bakery or something. I’m sad I slept on this recipe through the holidays, but idc imma make pies year round anyway. Thank you so so much for this! 🙏🏻❤️

This is a fantastic recipe Kaitlyn thank you for sharing !!! My only note is that it is not workable enough for lattice work on pies. The dough just isn't stable enough & will break into pieces before you can work with it as soon as it starts to warm up. I tried freezing it but it has to be REALLY cold or it will just snap off when you bend it in the least little way. BUT ! If you get the little leaf accent cutters it makes a fantastic crust ! Don't forget that silicone ring to protect it from the heat. That is REALLY important ! 🙂

Hello Kaitlyn, Can your recipe be made without sugar? Or, can one substitute Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener for the sugar in your recipe? Lakanto's replacement is 1:1 sugar. However, I prefer to not have a sweet taste because I am making chicken pot pies.
I forgot, I was going to mention something about your concerns about your hand lotion situation. So I was thinking you might try Jojoba oil, you can try Leven Rose on Amazon, organic, cold pressed, Jojoba is “ skin identical” and no allergic reactions (it is used in my products, which I believe you could also use, super clean & natural). I liked your tips on this video! I am self taught and was raised before packaged foods were common, so I already was a “from scratch” cook, so being a Celiac and cooking everything myself is natural. I think your tips are helpful for younger generations.
