Predatory companies abound at the beginning of the year because people feel bad that they celebrated during the holidays and feel they have to change themselves — and it does cost a lot of money! Great point! Thanks for sharing it

I know after listening to Joe go on and on about 1 to 1 — 1 to 1 fat / ratio! and I did that for almost a year and stalled for much of that year. I'm not hitting 90% fat — but I"m consistently hitting 77 – 81% and feel better and started losing again. Has your weight loss been steady since you went to 90% fat?

🌹My lab mixes also love to roll in the grass. They will even do it leashed. 😅
I agree that if you do 3BE or Lion diet as a challenge or reset, take advantage of the elimination factor so you can really judge what foods affect you adversely. I did 3BE and then tightened it up more but I went off it for the cruise so I was having cheese, nuts, berries, chocolate, etc. No way to tell what was problematic!

I absolutely love Shelly's intro tune. It brings back memories of Greenacres memories that my mom used to watch. 😂 I thought BBB&E would be difficult for me since I can't have pig due to food allergy, but it's been going really well.

It really is crazy how cutting out chicken (I used to eat DAILY for lunch), my general aches & pains are gone! I attributed aches n pains to maybe I worked out harder then usual or that I had a tougher day at work (I have to squat, lift, transfer heavy people all day)…but the only thing I did was cut chicken out! Even my hands had become super achy daily! AND, I do workout daily with weights, body weight & cardio so yeah, I do eat more protein. But watching you in your higher fat journey, I’ve added more fat to my meals and have seen my weight & body composition change over the past couple of months! Crazy how fearful of fat we used to be!!! Fat is flavor & fat is fabulous!!!

Thank you so much for this practical and well-explained vlog! I totally agree with the 30 day challenge message. I am actually unfollowing a few channels that have just really gone off the rails. I appreciate your attention to the mental and emotional part of eating this way, that is so important for actual change in lifestyle and eating. Great message about self talk and self love 💗💗Glad you had a good Birthday, you are a wonderful person and I wish you (and Heath) success and health in this New Year 🎉 (Rose!)

LOVE THE MUG! 👍🏻 (apparently we think alike!) No censoring needed on any word for this girl—I have a mug very similar to that one! It’s in my rotation of favorite mugs & I will be sad if it ever breaks.

What? 82 degrees in January? I think you may be bragging, & I don’t blame you! 😛 I’m stuck in the Indiana freezing cold tundra. Lol (currently 46 degrees here, so I guess I’m exaggerating. Not so bad today.)

Rose. My current cadre of dogs roll around on their beds but not outside. My hounds used to roll everywhere, especially when we were out lure coursing and the could find an old cow patty to roll in. I agree with you on the voices on the web that are shouting out about protein. Like Dr. Westman has said, it is an absence of carbs not how much protein and fat you eat. But I consider most things to be on a cycle, if you wait long enough, it will swing the other way.
