I show you my food shopping, a charity shop haul and what I bought from my local recycling shop. Frugal Queen in France Like …
The U.S. Prices in France are way cheaper than U.S. Prices in Texas!
I have no question at this moment. But I want to say that I am always happy to see your videos. ❤
Thanks for putting the prices in America dollars, much appreciated. 👍🌹
Love watching your videos! You’ve given me some ideas of things to look out for at the charity shop.👍
Is it possible for you to have an over the winter greenhouse? Your video's are so much fun to watch.
Lovely to see that Tupperware, reminds me of my childhood! Modern alternatives just aren't the same.
Great shopping haul Jane & Mike! I now have Tupperware envy 👍😂🏴
So jealous of the Tupperware! Beautiful! Great job!
Another great video Some good food ideas as well .Good haul in the supermarket .Looking forward to see what you are going to cook
Really enjoy these shopping videos and comparing prices. Sadly ours appear to be more expensive than in France but let’s face it – everywhere food is expensive! I hate waste too and love a good charity shop find! Thank you Jane and Mike.
I really appreciate you giving us the American price. I love seeing your grocery hauls. The bread looks wonderful
Just found you, will binge watch all blogs now. I am in the U.K. but have had many holidays in Brittany.
Today’s video was such fun- loved it. 🌻
Enjoyed seeing your food haul and trips to the recycling center and animal support charity! …Deb Gnagey
Wow your prices are great ! This all would have cost much more here in the US
Wow those prices es on vegetables are good. The price of a small head ettuce here (ohio) is rarely under $3.00! Cucumbers like that $3.00 for 2! Food that is crap is cheap though 😔
Hi Jane and Mike been a while since I've commented! But I watch all your videos. Some of the prices are similar here in Sicily as we're also euros. I buy smaller double packs of 'lardons' pancetta a cubetti. And like you I put them everywhere !! In pasta with sauce or cream or plain pasta with pancetta and zucchini!! Also in rosottos or soups, I love items that are versatile. We are also very fortunate to have lots of fruits and veg grown on the island also our meats are produced locally. Obviously we pay a lot more for imported goods. Although we have recycling here we don't have the facilities like you where you can buy things which I'd love to have here!! Sicilians don't like buying used items!! Have a great week and look forward to seeing your next videos and projects. 🤗
For St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, I wanted to get some corned beef. I found a two and a half pounds brisket marked at about $17. I was planning to boil it with cabbage like my Mother cooked it. However, It was on sale for only $3.45 per pound so I paid a little over $8 for it. I shared it with my son and his family. They all enjoyed it with me.
Your groceries are at really good prices over there. Things are so much higher in our area in the United States. I know your gas prices are higher, though. My question is : do you guys have multiple stores available to your area? Are there farmer's market in your area? I guess that's 2 questions 😉
I used to sweep my mother's chimney when I was young. Memories… Used a set of brushes she had in the 70s.
Great video interesting to see the chimney being cleaned. Enjoyed the grocery haul and great finds at recycling centre look forward to see what you do with the drawers.
I loved this video. Your bargain store finds we’re awesome – the Tupperware was a great deal/ find😊 Thank you so much for the dollar prices on your groceries too😃
It seems like you pay much less for groceries over there. Here it's hard to get a loaf of bread for less than $4.50 and the meat prices have us becoming involuntary vegans. great video!
Watching you drive on your road I noticed no litter. Littering is a big problem in many parts of USA. Of course the country is so big large areas of it are pristine, too.
Great to see your second hand buys. Seems like they were all really good value. I’ll be interested to see how you upcycle the drawers. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Jane and Mike, since Brexit can you still by UK products in French supermarkets? I really miss our Woodburn we had in our tied cottage. We used to have a lady sweep who was lovely and did a great job.
Hi Jane, I really wish to know how to lower eye care cost in France . It is really expensive and draining a lot of money. Is there any eye care insurance that help to cover in long run ?
Waiting for an advise
With love

Hi Jane and Mike. Those pictures and the towel rack were gorgeous. Keen to see what magic you work on the drawers! Love from Australia xxx
We had those Tupperware bowls when I was growing up.
You got some great bargains thrifting!
I live in Texas near Fort Worth. Here are some prices for similiar items to those in your haul. I'd love to have your prices.
18 ounce Kellogg's corn flakes $3.28-$4.29
96% lean ground beef $6.29/lb
12 free range eggs $4.38-5.99
Organic whole chicken $3.69/lb
Medium size organic cauliflower $2.96
English cucumber $0.98-2.46 each
I live in Australia, our prices a way higher here than you pay in France. A small cauliflower was Aus $5.99 each, broccoli was $6.99 a kilo and green beans were $11.99 a kilo when I went green grocery shopping last Saturday. Prices have risen quite a lot here since the start of the year. Thank you for sharing.
You always have gorgeous cabbage. I bet the sausages are delicious with all the garlic. I would love to explore the animal charity shop. I love the pictures. Till next time, blessings to all ❤
I really like the visual effect you are using at the end of your videos. Makes your house look like a painting. The music is really nice, too.
do you grow herbs? and I would love any and all tips!
Love your Tupperware bowls. My daughter and I go to a particular store that sells mostly vintage items. I must say I felt really old when I saw so many items I have had for many years in my home! They just don't make items to last like that anymore.
Hi Jane and Mike I love your videos be safe be happy
