I like the manufactured ones as they do seem safer and more "put together. " But if you are in a safe spot with other friends around and feel safe I think yours would be far more refreshing. So I would keep both and live with hating how I hold on to too much stuff. Both are great. Course I have a small dog and she wouldn't let a stranger get near me.

I slept in a Walmart parking lot with my windows down half way. I also had a Great Dane/German Shepherd mix with me and if some one would have tried to come in on me she would have had an arm for a souvenir lol. She is a sweet dog loves everyone but she knows when it is time to do her job. Plus if someone would have seen 160 lb dog come at them they wouldn't have stuck around lol. Only issue I had though she kept trying to steal my bed lol. We were camping in my Infiniti Qx56. So now I have a Dodge ram van if she wants to go camping with me. If just me I take the Infiniti. I had gotten me a little Chihuahua to go camping with me but he don't like car riding. So most of the time he stays home with his Daddy while mom goes camping. Now Ali wants to go camping with me and he is a Dane/Lab mix. So guess I am going to have to rotate who goes camping lol. I have such spoiled fur babies. If Bella the great Pyrenees decides she wants to start going lord help me lol.

Iโ€™m fairly new to ur channel, but have gone back and watched many of ur past videos, which Iโ€™m enjoying very much. I was wondering if you could give a recap for new views – how many children did you have? How long were you married? What happened to your husband? How old are you?
I watched a video of you in a house, I think ur daughter purchased, but Iโ€™m confused. Do you still also live in ur big home or did you sell it? Are you sometimes w/ur daughter & sometimes in ur big home w/live in family? Where do you buy your adorable dresses, pants & that teal โ€œVโ€ slinky top genie type pants outfit- loved that outfit!!! Iโ€™m getting ready to try ur recipes for 2 weeks and see how I feel and if I lose any weight. I grew up camping all over the US, but not so sure I like the camper van idea for myself. Traveling alone isnโ€™t for me. But I like watching your and others do it on YouTube. Ur a very interesting person.

I made the best stealth window screens for my Promaster!
Using sticky back Velcro tapeโ€ฆ.. I used the soft side and attached it to the inside window frame, that part stays in place and is not noticeable.
Attach the hook side to the installed tape. Remove the backing from the Velcro and stick the screen to itโ€ฆ.. automatic perfect fit!
Trim and finish as you desire. Itโ€™s worked fabulously for me.๐Ÿค—

@Lulu, since youโ€™re quite good at sewing, can you make a new set of screens (following the ones youโ€™ve just bought) with your existing screen fabric? Just a thought ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’

I don't think they are stealth enough to make a difference if someone is looking for a car to break in to. Not being a Debbie Downer…just giving an honest opinion. I think you did an excellent job with the ones you made.

I would take your own pair with you, as well.
I like the new ones because they look more professional but, if it's too hot, you can switch them.
I would keep them on and drive with them, to get used to it.
    Neat idea.

One night, I was so desperate for ANY air moving on a still night (traveling from AZ-MO), that I cracked the travel trailer door about 5โ€ with nothing but one regular bungee cord to keep it from flying open, ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜…!

Hi Lulu! I have been using ones like those new ones u just ordered but I find that not enough air is flowing through. So I am going to make some like the older ones u made. Keep up the great videos! Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

I was surfing ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™€๏ธ around the web looking for window ventilation options and look who pops up in my messages… Lulu! I have square windows in my 1990 Suburban Land Yacht. Thinking I'll try soffit vents. They have louvres to help if it rains.
    Keep Dancing! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’ƒ

I have a question. I just realized in my Van. That the max air fan runs without me turning the car on. Isnโ€™t that draining your battery? How long can u run it without you running battery down ?

Could you use 3โ€ magnetic roll in white? It would hide the screen on the outside of the window. You could use around the whole window.
