Wow Chef!!! I’ve been making semolina pudding my whole life and my kids loved it- but your recipe is outstanding and now my grand babies will enjoy a better version- Yours!!! Very happy I found your channel. I’ve enjoyed many of your recipes exactly as you described them! I’m a seasoned cook and enjoy international cuisines, and I’m sure young cooks will find your recipes very easy to follow. In my opinion, German cuisine is underrated. Simplicity is the best in cooking. Please keep on posting your amazing recipes. Congratulations from Anna a Greek yiayia (grandma) in New York City

I tried it with the Cream of Wheat we have in the US and it worked beautifully! I will still make traditional cream of wheat for breakfast but I will be making this often when I want a quick rich dessert ❤️ I absolutely loved it! Thank you so much for up loading this simple dessert.

We have a product in the US called "Cream of Wheat" it's been sold here since 1893. It's like semolina but is not durum wheat. That wheat variety isn't grown here normally. We simply add butter, a little salt, some kind of sweetener plus a little cream to thin it out. It's needs the thinning because the traditional recipe results in a very thick consistency. It's cooked with just water. I have loved it all my life. And that would be decades! 👵😁 I'm sure it would lend itself to being prepared this way. I'm looking forward to giving it a try. Tonight. I always have it in the cupboard, and I have the rest of the ingredients as well. Thank you for this simple recipe for a product I love so much.

The recipe calls for soft wheat semolina, but I read that durum wheat semolina is different and not interchangeable. Can you use durum wheat semolina or does it have to be soft wheat?
